Profitability, Visual Effect
The most durable, multi-purpose, floor coating systems for
plants and high traffic areas!
Concrete Finishes' coating systems are designed to protect
floors from harsh environments subject to heavy traffic, including
cars, trucks, tow motors and material carts. In addition to
excellent abrasion resistance, these systems offer exceptional
resistance to a wide range of chemicals and solvents.
Cleaning
and Maintaining a Concrete Finishes' Flooring System
Every premise can be kept tidy with a minimal amount of work.
All flooring systems are easy to clean and environment friendly
cleaning compounds can be used. A soft soap and water mixture
can be applied to the floor with a mop or washing apparatus.
How often the floor needs to be cleaned is dependent on the
type of activity in the facility. Normally a floor should
be swept and cleaned every day to once a week. With regular
cleaning and maintenance, you will lower the expense of cleaning
compounds and articles of consumption.
DESCRIPTION:
Two component 100% solids epoxy coating
system designed as a heavy duty re-surfacer that will fill
cracks and superficial defects in concrete. In its cured state,
it leaves a smooth non-porous high gloss finish that will
withstand industrial chemicals, high abrasion and lift truck
traffic.

ABRASION TESTING:
Two component 100% solids epoxy coating
system tested by an independent lab for abrasion resistance
relative to four concrete floor coatings. Each coating was
applied by a 5 mm pile roller in two coats to smooth concrete
stones and allowed to dry cure at room temperature. Abrasion
tests were conducted at two intervals, at 48 hours and at
7 days from the time of the second coat application.
PROCEDURE:
Abrasion testing was performed on a
standard Gardner-Style Scrub Tester, using diamond grit no.
220 wet abrasion paper, kept wet by periodic water spray and
changed every 1000 cycles. Cycles to fail indicate the number
of abrasive cycles to wear through the coating film and expose
a minimum of one square inch of the concrete substrate.
